I had to act like a clown to catch this little guy's interest (there is just so much to see and do when you are 18 months old!) but it was totally worth it.

Skylar is one of my milestones plan babies (meaning I have photographed her three times during her first year of life; as a newborn, at the sitting up stage, and just recently walking!). She is so adorable, but she is a bit of a tough cookie... she likes to give me a lot of very serious faces... and while I love serious faces (just look at my website) it is nice to catch a smile every once in awhile. Which is why I was thrilled to capture this...
One of my all time favorite kids to photograph has a baby sister! And she is just as adorable!!!

This was my first time using my new purple background for a session and I think it looks really cute for a baby girl!
A sneak peek from this weekend... this shoot made me feel a teensy bit sad... why? Because I CANNOT wait to meet my baby and it feels too far away!!! I was so jealous... :-)

This little guy was an angel, he was a joy to photograph.
Just a couple images from a session I had last week... This little guy was so cute and had a ton of energy, but I loved the results of our session. I can't wait to show more on here, and I certainly will!
Did I mention how much I love being outside again for sessions? I am in heaven editing these... I LOVE outdoor images.
This was the first newborn I have ever photographed who would not go to sleep! He was so alert, and he was happy, but he just did not want to sleep. That was fine because he was very cooperative and he had really intense eye contact for such a new little one... but it was a first for me! I was very pleased with what I got.
I love this second one because it was all his own posing. His parents said he came out with that hand on his head and it seemed to be a comfort position for him. So cute.
Blayke was an absolute DREAM baby to work with. He was 1) ADORABLE, and 2) a sound sleeper who let us do whatever we wanted for most of the session. Working with him just made me so excited to meet my own little one... he was such a sweetheart...
